  •  “exit”  (It will exit “Disk Partition”)
  • Now, you will see the flash drive will be visible in Windows Explorer with a name like F:\ or E:\.

Step 3: Make the USB Flash Drive Bootable

Now, you will follow some commands to make this USB flash drive bootable.

  • Type “bootsect /nt60 X:” here. (Change “X” with the drive letter of a flash drive)

How to fix a failed Windows 8 Update from Windows 7?
Make sure that your system is updated. Run “Windows Update” several times to update the system before you start the installation.
When I start the installation, it shows “Your Windows 8 install couldn’t be completed” message. Please help.
The message appears when you don’t have sufficient storage space in a hard drive disk. Check the installation requirements. Make sure; you have at least 20GB storage space.
I have an updated system, but still, I see the message “Your Windows 8 install couldn’t be completed.” Why?

When I start the installation, it goes up to 30% and then shows an error message like Windows 8 can’t be installed. Please help.
Disconnect all peripheral devices from your system. Remove printer, scanner or other output devices from PC and retry to install Windows.
